- Design, build, and maintain advanced applications for the Android platform.
- Work with modern Android development tools including Kotlin, Coroutines, Jetpack Compose, and the Android SDK.
- Implement architecture patterns like MVVM to create scalable and maintainable apps.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks, fix bugs, and improve application performance.
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
- At least 5 years of experience working on Native Android mobile development (Compose and the Android SDK preferred).
- 3 years of experience in leading the design and architecture for complex Android applications.
- Experience with Java/Kotlin, i.e. co-routines, observables, live data, flows and streams.
- A proven track record of making key technical decisions and setting development standards.
- Mentorship experience, guiding and uplifting other Engineers in the team.
- Strong communication skills to effectively articulate technical vision and trade-offs.
