- Develop and execute key business development strategy. This includes understanding brief, generating ideas, conducting research, developing strategies, and generating business plans for presentation and execution.
- Identify and pursue potential business partnership opportunities to expand market reach and increase customer base. Develop a comprehensive understanding of the market landscape and competitor activities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective B2B clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to meet their expectations.
- Negotiate and finalize agreements and contracts with B2B clients. Includes drafting proposals of financial model, agreements and commercial terms.
- Collaborate with internal departments, to ensure seamless execution of B2B initiatives.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and contracts to effectively communicate our value proposition and secure new business.
- Prepare detailed reports on partnership activities, revenue generation and other relevant metrics. Presentation and reporting back to exco level on these elements.
- Develop and implement key performance indicators to measure the success of partnerships. Regularly analyze partnership performance and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Stay up to date with industry developments, B2B best practices, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
- 8- 10 years' experience in development & customer relationship management preferably in a similar industry.
- Strong business acumen and ability to understand complex B2B sales cycles.
- Focused and outcomes-based personality.
- The job holder must be pro-active and have excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills.
- They must be able to work on their own initiative and to be accountable for their work performance.
- They must work well as part of the team.
