- Relevant Tertiary qualification in agriculture
- At least 4 years’ experience in the cultivation of citrus
- Knowledge of modern production practices
- Specific knowledge/experience in irrigation practices will be to your advantage
- Good leadership and communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel)
- Table Grape Production experience will be to your advantage
- Plant citrus, schedule irrigation, apply fertilizer, pest, plague and weed control, prune, harvest, monitoring, all manipulations
- Labor planning and management, recordkeeping, plan transport and accommodation, maintenance (equipment/orchards/general)
- Cost control by focusing on productivity
