- Seek new customers and sales opportunities in assigned segments and regions.
- Develop and continuously improve sales strategy per market segment.
- Develop new and update current customer plans and sales pitches.
- Develop weekly customer schedule to call on new customers, in line with the sales strategy.
- Monitor competition and gathering of current marketplace information.
- Maintain customer CRM database with potential new customers, new customer status and sales outcomes.
- Provide weekly feedback and monthly reports to the management team.
- Coordinate new customers onboarding.
- Ensure sales targets and objectives are achieved.
- Build relationships with customer key decision makers through regular customer visits.
- Develop weekly and monthly customer visit cycles to maintain relationships and support customer sales.
- Establish strong relationship with distributors through regular contact, providing sales support and training.
- Develop and implement customer call/order cycles and ensure orders are received timeously.
- Work closely with distribution coordinator and delivery teams to maximise distribution efficiency and service.
- Drive customer orders and grow existing customer sales.
- Identify marketing opportunities to support existing customer base sales growth.
- Monitor and track the status of key orders.
- Address customer queries promptly by investigating and resolving queries.
- Restaurants, hotels, coffee shops, venues.
- Retail, delis, events, corporates, schools, clubs, shipping etc.
- 2+ years sales experience would be beneficial.
- Bachelors Degree preferred or equivalent in Business or Sales/Marketing qualification.
- Minimum 2-3 years relevant work experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and an outgoing personality
- Adaptable and quick to learn new processes and tools.

- The position is based in Cape Town and target customers will be in the greater Cape Town area.
- Travel to outlying areas may be required by exception only.
- This is predominantly a work from home position.
- Expected that most time will be spent at customers or on the road.
- Ideally person should be based in Stellenbosch, Paarl or Northern suburbs.
- Would visit our offices and warehouse in Klapmuts to collect samples, attend meetings etc. once a week.
- Must have own transport and valid drivers license.
- Afrikaans as first language and excellent English both written and verbal.
- Report to senior sales representative.
