A well-established and growing organisation is looking for a qualified and competent Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their dynamic team. This is a key leadership role with full responsibility for the daily operations and strategic direction of the business. The CFO will be the highest-ranking manager in the organisation and play a crucial role in driving the overall success of the company.Minimum Requirements:Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Chartered Accountant (CA)Proven experience in a Managing Director or senior managerial roleStrong understanding of corporate finance and business performance metricsAbility to work independently and under pressureExceptional attention to detail and accuracyKey Responsibilities:Prepare financial statements, business activity reports, and forecastsSupervise staff responsible for financial reporting and budgetingReview financial reports and identify opportunities to reduce costsAssist management in making sound financial decisionsMitigate financial risk using strategies such as hedgingPlan and prepare income tax documentationPerform data analysis to support business decisionsDevelop and manage accounting procedures to improve efficiencyEvaluate cost-reduction opportunities across all departmentsOversee debtors and manage cash flowAnalyse sales performance, including trader and commodity salesEnsure compliance with legal, regulatory, and policy requirementsLead weekly reporting on company performanceManage recruitment, retention, and development of staffKey Skills & Competencies:Strong leadership and people management skillsExcellent communication and organisational abilitiesExceptional analytical and problem-solving skillsHigh level of business acumen and strategic thinkingAbility to handle crisis situations and mediate conflictStrong decision-making and delegation capabilitiesIMPORTANT:
