- Machine Operation: Set up, operate, and monitor inline punch lipped channel machines and roll forming machines to produce components according to specifications.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production data, including quantities produced and any issues encountered.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in machine operation is advantageous.
- Experience: Previous experience operating punch press or similar machinery is preferred.
- Skills: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings; strong attention to detail; good problem-solving skills.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; comfortable standing for extended periods; manual dexterity.
- Location: Based at a client facility in Jet Park, Boksburg, South Africa.
- Schedule: Full-time position with potential for overtime.
- Environment: Manufacturing floor with exposure to noise and machinery.
