
IT Infrastructure Manager Cape Town

- Lead and mentor the IT Service Desk team, ensuring resources meet SLA targets
- Provide 3rd line support and act as escalation point for complex incidents
- Manage servers, networks, firewalls, and associated infrastructure (Windows Server, Active Directory, FortiGate, Office 365, Hyper V, Veeam)
- Implement ITIL-based standards, incident/problem/change management processes
- Ensure infrastructure resilience, uptime, and disaster recovery readiness
- Oversee vendor relationships and service reviews with 3rd party providers
- Drive infrastructure upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives
- Degree or relevant IT certifications (MCSE + Security, Fortinet Certified, ITIL)
- Minimum 5 years' experience managing an IT team
- Strong technical knowledge across servers, networks, firewalls, messaging, and security
- Proven ability to lead through change and deliver results under pressure
- Customer-focused mindset and excellent communication skills
