SASA- Management Accounting OfficerOur Client, the South African Sugar Association (SASA) has a permanent vacancy for a Management Accounting Officer, based at Mount EdgecombeReporting directly to the Finance Manager, the Management Accounting Officer is responsible for the following key deliverables:

Assuming responsibility for specific SASA budgets, including the preparation, managing and periodic reporting on these budgets, in close consultation with the relevant internal and external stakeholders, departmental managers and/or divisional heads
Providing financial advice and guidance to departmental managers regarding budget phasing and utilization
Assuming responsibility for key financial and administration functions provided by the centralized team

The ideal candidate would be an individual who:

has exceptional planning, organizing, organizational and self-management skills
is a team player and comfortable with written and verbal communication and interaction with senior internal and external stakeholders
has a strong preference for working in an environment with established standards, guidelines, policies and procedures
pays close attention to detail and is thorough and meticulous and takes pride in the presentation of their deliverables

Essential for this role:

National Diploma or Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Financial or Management Account
