SUMMARY:
Senior Platform Engineer - JHB / CPT / Hybrid - R1.4m PAPOSITION INFO:We’re on a mission to make it easy for companies to hire and manage global teams.   • Proficiency in our tech stack:
  • Typescript, NextJS/React, AWS, CDK, Lambda/Step Functions
  • Postgres/Dynamo
  • Streaming (Kinesis, Firehose, MKS, EventBridge)
  • MWAA
  • Experience and interest in hybrid AI solutions, e.g. RAG, digital assistants, workflow automation
  • Experience or interest in ML
  • Experienced as a senior or lead platform engineer, you are passionate about devOps and platform engineering
  • Ability and confidence to challenge existing architecture, processes and ways of working and suggest improvements
  • Confident explaining ideas, solutions and achievements to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset. Data-driven approach
Responsibilities:
  • Play a key role in developing our platform, enabling the automation of frequent, high-quality releases and providing a platform as a service to the engineering team
  • Work in the platform team to deliver platform capabilities that power automation, knowledge sharing and customer experience in the business, including but not limited to applying LLMs to workflow automation, providing access to BI and platform data and architecting infrastructure for performance and scale.
  • Collaborate closely with the product and Engineering teams to build solutions that enable observability, experimentation and the gathering of insights from e.g. A/B and multivariate testing and customer usage.
  • Continually seek out and share ways to improve our processes, platform, and culture
