- Customer Service & Bookings
- Greet and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner
- Handle telephone, online, and walk-in rental enquiries and bookings
- Provide product information, rental options, rates, terms, and conditions
- Upsell additional services (e.g., insurance cover, GPS, baby seats)
- Sales & Target Achievement
- Maximize revenue through effective up-selling and cross-selling
- Meet or exceed individual and team sales targets
- Educate clients on rental options and value-added services
- Administration & Documentation
- Process rental agreements accurately and efficiently
- Inspect vehicles with clients and document pre/post-rental conditions
- Manage payments, deposits, and refunds
- Fleet Coordination
- Coordinate with fleet controllers to ensure vehicle availability
- Assist with vehicle check-ins, check-outs, and cleanliness
- Liaise with workshop team regarding vehicle servicing or repairs
- Education: Grade 12 (Matric) minimum
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years in a customer service/sales or car rental environment
- Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication (Afrikaans & English)
- Strong sales ability and negotiation skills
- Computer literate (MS Office, rental booking systems)
- Organised with good time management and multi-tasking ability
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Other:
- Valid driver's license (Code B/08) - essential
- Able to work weekends and public holidays as required
