External Sales Representative - Gauteng

- Drive new and used forklift and equipment sales (diesel & electric)
- Manage the short-term rental fleet planning and sales
- Identify and convert new sales opportunities through cold calling and client visits
- Develop tailored presentations, proposals, and contracts
- Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective clients
- Manage all sales documentation and CRM updates
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure smooth delivery and post-sale support
- Participate in trade shows, marketing events, and promotional activities
- Track sales activity, maintain pipeline reports, and achieve defined targets
- Matric with a post-matric qualification in Sales, Marketing, or a Technical field
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in external sales with exposure to forklifts, lift trucks, or industrial equipment
- Experience in short-term rental fleet management
- Sound technical understanding of diesel and electrical forklifts
- Familiarity with Autoline and CRM systems (advantageous)
- Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
- Proven cold calling and closing skills
- Driver’s license and willingness to travel within the region
