The position is home-based but requires frequent travel across Southern and Eastern Africa, with relocation to Zimbabwe. Working UK hours, you'll manage both technical design and client interaction.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the development of cold storage solutions for new markets and industries across AfricaDesign technical specifications and select components for cold rooms and refrigeration systemsPrepare technical and commercial proposals tailored to client needsOversee supplier and installer quality assurance, including design reviews and compliance checksProvide post-installation support including troubleshooting and technical assistanceAbout You5 to 10 years of hands-on experience in refrigeration or a related mechanical/electrical fieldDiploma, degree, or technical qualification in refrigeration or a closely related areaBased in or experienced with the Southern or Eastern African marketStrong MS Office skills, especially Excel will be thoroughly assessed in interviewComfortable with frequent travel and possible relocation to ZimbabweIndependent, resourceful, and capable of working as a freelancer, contractor, or employeeDetail-oriented with a strong sense of accountability and customer service
