Provide our sub-contractors with a 12-month rolling forecast and be able to do scenario planning to identify capacity constraints and best manage labour costs (production smoothing);
Issue weekly production schedules and ensure a 95% Mps adherence;
Manage finished good stock levels within predetermined target days cover (this includes stock builds for promotion, line shutdowns and peak build for seasonality);
Maintain planning parameters within SAP and Barnton Planning tool for subcontracted items and local supplier;
Manage the procurement and replenishment of all raw and packaging material into sub-contractors to achieve MPS targets. All relevant COA documentation to accompany the shipment of raw materials;
Ensure timeous and accurate back flushing of sub-contractor purchase orders and ensure batch management integrity is maintained within SAP.
Provide the Inland logistics manager with a weekly collection roster for manufactured stock and ensure optimised utilization of vehicle.
Ensure the receiving departments have adequate quality management checks in place when inspecting the manufactured goods being received from sub-contractors.
Conduct weekly stock counts at sub-contractors, investigate variances and ensure stock counts have been posted in SAP.
Ensure supplier and or purchase contract is loaded within SAP with accurate pricing and source list maintained.
Quarterly evaluate the yield and MOQ’s at sub-contractors and get approval to update SAP BOM and Barnton configuration.
Liaise with Account Payable department to ensure accurate and timely payment of invoices and resolve any MRBR queries within the month of reporting
Hold quarterly supplier reviews with sub-contractors and minute corrective plans and ensure effective execution thereof
Make sure the sub-contractors comply with quality, BBBEE, safety and product recall process defined by Ciro
Complete raw and packaging report weekly
Foreign payment instruction documentation and manage stock from the import plant to DC
Create purchase orders and requisitions for local suppliers based on Barnton planning tool
Be involved in ad hoc projects as requiredExperience, Qualifications and Knowledge Required:At least 5 years experience in a role dealing with Supply-; Demand-; Deployment-; and/or Logistics Planning
A completed National Diploma / B.Tech / B.Degree in Procurement, Logistics or Supply Chain
Sound Excel skills
