We raise girls to embrace their heritage and collaborate locally to make a significant contribution nationally and internationally.Aftercare Coordinator: Part-timeThe Girls' Preparatory School invites applications for the abovementioned position from June 2024 until December 2024Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced individuals who believe they have the required skills, competencies, passion and energy to take on this position.The requirements for this position are:
  • To assist with Aftercare duties within the Girls' Prep between 13H00 - 17H00
  • Experience in working in an aftercare environment
  • Must have a post matric qualification
  • A teaching background will be preferable.
  • First Aid certificate (level 1)
  • Ability to take initiative and to act decisively
  • Must be motivated and passionate about young people
  • Care and supervision of all students at the aftercare facility
  • Assist with the extra mural program of aftercare students
  • Good organisational skills
  • Excellent people skills
  • Good administration and computer skills
  • Proof of registration with SACE will be an advantage
  • A sexual offender's clearance certificate. Any staff working within a school are required to have a sexual offender's clearance certificate.
  • A willingness to work within the values, Methodist Christian ethos and mission of the College
