Job Summary:We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Butchery Manager to lead our butchery operations. The ideal candidate must be hardworking, loyal, trustworthy, and maintain clean and sober habits. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent product knowledge, and the ability to manage staff, inventory, and sales while ensuring the highest quality and food safety standards.Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily operations of the butchery, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality production.
  • Manage and supervise butchery staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management.
  • Ensure all meat products are cut, prepared, and displayed according to company standards.
  • Maintain strict hygiene and food safety standards, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
  • Monitor stock levels, place orders, and manage supplier relationships to maintain inventory.
  • Control costs and reduce wastage while maintaining profitability.
  • Develop and implement strategies to boost sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure proper pricing, packaging, and labeling of meat products.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests in a professional manner.
  • Conduct regular quality checks on products and equipment maintenance
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in butchery management.
  • Extensive knowledge of meat cuts, deboning, portioning, and processing techniques and Health and Hygiene.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Loyal, trustworthy, and committed to excellence in work and ethics.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet business demands.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
  • Physically fit and capable of handling heavy meat products.
  • Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays if required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification in Butchery Management or Meat Processing (advantageous but not required).
  • Experience in a retail or wholesale butchery environment.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and HACCP principles.
