
Accountant

- Perform daily bookkeeping and accounting tasks, including:
- Bank and credit card reconciliations
- Accounts payable and receivable
- General ledger maintenance
- Month-end and year-end closings
- Inventory and fixed asset management
- Equity and intercompany account reconciliations
- Prepare accurate financial statements and management reports
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis
- Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and IRS regulations
- Communicate directly with U.S. clients via email and video conferencing
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve processes and client service
- Utilize accounting platforms such as QuickBooks (Online/Desktop), Xero, and other cloud-based tools
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 2–3 years of accounting experience, preferably with U.S. clients
- Proficient in QuickBooks, Xero, and Microsoft Excel
- Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
- High attention to detail with strong organizational skills
- Experience in an outsourced accounting or BPO environment
- Familiarity with U.S. tax forms and filings (e.g., 1099s, W-9s)
- Professional certification (SAIPA, SAICA, CPA or equivalent) is a plus
