Overview / DescriptionThe position is for a Professional Quantity Surveyor at a multi-disciplinary consulting firm. The successful candidate will form part of the Quantity Surveying department and will have regular interaction and collaboration with the Architecture and Engineering departments.Requirements

BTech or Bsc degree in Quantity Surveying
Professional Registration
6 to 10 years working experience
Valid driver’s license

Role and Responsibilities

Review and evaluate design documentation
Prepare preliminary & detailed estimates
Formulate bills of quantities & contract documentation
Financial evaluation of tenders
Administer cashflow forecasts, cost reports, variation orders, valuations, contractual claims, etc.
Prepare & negotiate final accounts
Attend meetings
Formulate, review and analyse repair estimates
Prepare viability studies, damage costings & determine value at risk
Liaise and cooperate with multi-disciplinary teams (Project Managers, Architects, Engineers & Quantity Surveyors)
