Job Summary An opportunity for a detail-oriented JUNIOR MECHANICAL DRAUGHTSMAN is required for permanent employment based in the East Rand. • To support the engineering and production teams by producing accurate technical drawings and General Arrangement (GA) plans for mechanical components and ventilation systems. • Proficient in Autodesk Inventor (3D) and possess a solid understanding of mechanical drafting principles. • Develop and revise detailed mechanical drawings, General Arrangements (GAs), and assembly plans using Inventor (3D). • Interpret design sketches, concepts, and specifications to create accurate technical documentation. • Collaborate with engineers and workshop teams to ensure designs are practical and manufacturable. • Maintain organized job files, drawing documentation, and revision control in line with internal standards. • Assist with the preparation of Bills of Materials (BOMs) and related production documents. • Participate in design reviews and provide drafting support throughout the project lifecycle. • Ensure drafting work is completed accurately and in line with project timelines. • National Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Draughting, or a related discipline. • Proficient in Autodesk Inventor (3D) - mandatory requirement. • 1-2 years' experience in mechanical drafting (internship or practical training will be considered). • CV's (in Word.doc format) via email using Ref # 2357
