- Oversee the operations conducted by the partner responsible for managing the site.
- Ensure that incoming stock is properly offloaded and reloaded onto delivery vehicles (typically smaller vehicles) for efficient distribution to the end customer.
- Monitor the workflow to maintain optimal efficiency and address any issues that may arise during the process.
- Uphold and enforce health and safety policies and procedures at the site.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure that all operations adhere to safety standards and regulations.
- Implement corrective measures as needed to mitigate risks and maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.
- Oversee various administrative tasks related to site operations, including billing, invoicing, and record-keeping.
- Coordinate with the administrative team, which typically consists of 3 to 4 staff members, to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.
- Review and approve administrative documents, such as purchase orders, invoices, and financial reports, to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the site staff, including partner employees and administrative personnel.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment by promoting effective communication and teamwork.
- Identify training and development needs among team members and implement initiatives to enhance their skills and performance.
- Address any operational challenges or issues that arise at the site promptly and effectively.
- Utilize problem-solving skills and sound judgment to resolve conflicts, streamline processes, and optimize resource utilization.
- Make informed decisions based on a thorough analysis of available data and input from relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain open and transparent communication channels with internal stakeholders, including senior management, department heads, and other site managers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as logistics, procurement, and quality assurance, to coordinate activities and achieve common objectives.
- Serve as a liaison between the site and external parties, including clients, vendors, regulatory agencies, and community stakeholders.
- Continuously evaluate site operations and identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
- Implement initiatives and best practices to drive continuous improvement and enhance overall performance.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track progress and measure the success of improvement efforts.
