Job Summary Parts Buyer - Sandton | R15,000 - R20,000 Basic + Pension Fund A well-established company based in Sandton is looking for a skilled & experienced Parts Buyer with a strong background in truck & bakkie parts procurement. Reports directly to the Director & plays a critical role in supporting our workshop operations. Key Responsibilities: Parts Procurement: Handle the full purchasing process for truck & bakkie parts, ensuring accurate & timely orders. Build & maintain strong supplier relationships, negotiate pricing, & resolve order discrepancies. Conduct regular stock audits and ensure inventory is maintained at optimal levels. Monitor usage & forecast needs to maintain consistent stock availability. Stay within budget while sourcing quality parts at competitive prices. Maintain detailed records of parts ordered, received, & issued. Work closely with workshop managers to ensure parts are delivered in time for repairs. Ensure all received parts meet quality and fitment standards. Key Requirements: Solid background in parts buying for trucks & bakkies. Strong ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers. Proficient with inventory systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Accuracy in orders, records, & stock tracking is essential. Capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
