A position for a Workshop Technician has become available at a large equipment manufacturing company. This would be someone responsible for repairing or replacing broken or malfunctioning components of machinery or equipment in the workshop. The potential candidates must meet the following critical requirements:Grade 12Electrical Trade Test OR Electrical Engineering QualificationExperience within a Workshop (essential)2+ Years Technical Experience (Workshop and Repairs)Experience with Installations as well as Repair of EquipmentValid Drivers LicenseExperience with: Repairing, Testing & Quoting on Products ReceivedThe candidates will be responsible for but not limited toRepairing or replacing broken components of machinery / equipmentDisassembling machinery or equipmentCleaning, lubricating or adjusting partsProviding comprehensive reports on diagnosis and actions / recommendationsIf you dont meet the requirements above you will unfortunately not be considered for the role.DB Recruitment is fully compliant with the POPI Act 2013.
