  • Leadership & operations
  • Lead, inspire and manage a high-performing team of brilliant teachers.
  • Oversee process design, capacity management, and project management.
  • Shape and drive educational excellence
  • Continually learn from experts, evidence-based research, feedback and data to refine our education philosophy and structured pedagogy strategy.
  • Curriculum planning
  • Use your deep understanding of CAPS to lead teachers in developing their assessments and Annual Curriculum Plans to ensure thorough backwards planning and clear, strategic lesson objectives for every lesson.
  • Lesson design
  • Instil your passion for teaching & learning by helping teachers create the most joyful & rigorous lessons ever created in South Africa. Incorporate best teaching practices to ensure that our lesson videos and workbooks optimise student engagement and achievement.
  • Teacher Training and Development
  • Support our Head of Professional Development in creating and executing a comprehensive professional development plan for teachers that will bolster their goal of becoming the Springbok teacher team.
  • Quality Assurance
  • Define the role of a QA Lead and support their creation of QA frameworks and processes to continually measure and improve our educational excellence.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting
  • Collaborate with the Data Lead on monitoring and evaluation, employing data to assess the impact of our interventions and drive informed decision-making.
  • Recruitment
  • Lead recruitment efforts to find superstar teachers.
Requirements
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and lead a team of educators.
  • Extensive experience in teaching, curriculum design, and pedagogy, ideally with a strong understanding of the South African educational system and CAPS.
  • A track record of implementing effective teaching strategies, methodologies, and technologies that enhance learning outcomes.
  • Experience in teacher training, professional development, and quality assurance in an educational setting.
  • Competency in data analysis and using insights to drive educational improvements.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.

BenefitsSalary: We pay competitive salaries to attract top talent.
