- Effectively execute call procedures, in accordance with the SOP on pre, during and post call requirements, ongoing.
- Effectively execute sales levers at outlet level, in accordance with the SOP according to customer call procedure, ongoing.
- Effectively execute order taking and processing, via Salesforce.
- Provide input to the Cycle Planning process, as and when required.
- Effectively action specified tasks from cycle brief or operational requirements from RSM, ongoing.
- Provide input to Stock forecasting in line with Client needs and in collaboration with RSM.
- Effectively execute stock allocations, by managing the stock allocation as per RSM requirements and stock allocation report.
- Effectively execute and communicate product changes to customer(s) and related stakeholder(s) as per SOP.
- Manage transition and stock change over within the required time frame as per the Upliftment's and Vintage change SOP.
- Client Trade visits to be done as per the RSM requirements and according to SOP, ongoing.
- Deliver customer satisfaction by ensuring effective call cycle management. Ensure adequate planning of the call cycle as per Contact and Coverage SOP.
- Deliver customer satisfaction by calling customers in accordance with the agreed call cycle. This will include completing relevant trainings e.g. “Steps of a Call”.
- Understand qualifying criteria for customer account applications to advise on payment terms in line with the New Accounts SOP.
- Continuously liaise with customers to ensure Customer Satisfaction through effective communication.
- Actively build and maintain relationships with customers by acting as the Trusted Wine Advisor.
- Manage regional key account groups as instructed by RSM's, ongoing.
- Identify and present promotional opportunities / requirements as per the customers' needs, industry trends, Sales-out data, and the Promotional SOP.
- Develop and Execute Annual Promotional Calander per Customer.
- Perform additional duties and activities specific to role, region and/or customer allocation (e.g. Smollan, Makro, Redistribution) as per RSM requirements.
- Understand and provide input to the MWM sales strategy and execute individual sales targets, brand targets, customer targets and listings accordingly.
- Continuously grow and maintain the customer base to achieve desired targets.
- Develop and implement plan to close the sales gaps by analyzing the weekly and monthly reports.
- Log all calls and capture tasks/interactions with customers on Salesforce as per SOP and RSM requirements.
- Collect and manage customer information as per the “Know Your Customer” brief.
- Keep up to date with industry trends and demands.
- Grade 12.
- Degree (NQF level 7) in relating Wine, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality Management or Business Management fields.
- CWA SA Wine Course.
- CWA Certificate.
- CWA Diploma.
