SSK currently has the following career opportunity at its Grain Department in Swellendam. The suitable candidate is responsible for the daily activities related to Silo Maintenance.Responsibilities

Timely and accurate completion of tasks as agreed by your direct Supervisor
Good quality of your work rendered while performing your specific duties
Good feedback received from your direct Supervisor about your overall service provided
Enforcing legal requirements regarding health and safety as delegated by your direct Supervisor
Safekeeping of SSK assets and tools, and the safe handling of SSK parts and materials
Good relations with work colleagues, other SSK divisions, and SSK service providers

Requirements

At least a Matric (Grade 12) qualification
Relevant experience and/or exposure in a similar environment
Good planning, interpersonal, and communication skills
Be able to function well under pressure and in a pressured environment
Be willing to work at heights, and overtime, depending on the operational needs
Good physical condition with proof of good health and no dust allergies
