- Conduct pre-travel health assessments and provide individualized travel health advice.
- Administer vaccinations and prescribe appropriate prophylactic medications.
- Educate patients on travel-related health risks, including disease prevention, safety precautions, and medical preparedness.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Ensure compliance with medical and regulatory standards.
- Stay updated on current travel health trends, vaccination requirements, and disease outbreaks.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and travel agencies to provide high-quality travel health services.
- Diploma in Nursing.
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
- Travel Health Qualification.
- Valid Dispensing License.
- Proficiency in computer applications and electronic medical records.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Passion for travel medicine and patient education.
- Ability to provide a patient-centered approach to healthcare.
- Monday to Friday: 08:00 – 13:00
- Twice a year on a Saturday morning
