- Lead the design and implementation of comprehensive technical solutions
- Collaborate with the Bid Office to develop innovative and competitive solutions for tenders and proposals.
- Provide technical guidance and strategic input during pre-sales and bid processes, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and distributors to stay abreast of the latest product offerings and innovations.
- Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies that align with industry best practices to enhance organizational resilience.
- Monitor and report on security incidents, vulnerabilities, and trends to executive management.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and management of advanced security measures, including firewalls, SIEM solutions, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and encryption technologies.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and simulations to ensure robust protection against threats.
- Design and implement scalable and secure cloud computing solutions, including infrastructure, application architecture, and security frameworks.
- Manage complex networking environments, including configuring Cisco firewalls, VPNs, and security appliances.
- Lead multi-server environment designs, including IP address schemes, DNS configurations, and wireless networking setups.
- Troubleshoot and resolve advanced network and system issues to maintain seamless operations.
- Mentor, train, and upskill junior engineers and technical staff to build internal capacity and foster growth.
- Ensure the accreditation and certification of all technical team members in relevant cybersecurity, networking, and cloud technologies.
- Conduct regular technical training sessions, webinars, and staff meetings to enhance knowledge sharing and team collaboration.
- Stay abreast of the latest technology trends in cybersecurity, networking, and cloud computing to inform strategic decisions.
- Research and evaluate new products and solutions for potential integration into the company’s offerings.
- Maintain and update the Webstor product catalogue to ensure relevance and accuracy.
- Plan, implement, and upgrade security measures and architectures.
- Lead incident response and root cause analysis, generating detailed reports for stakeholders.
- Ensure the secure management of sensitive company data and systems.
- Regularly conduct and oversee network and system vulnerability tests.
- Manage documentation for all network changes, system activities, and deviations.
- Support the Bid Office by crafting technically sound and cost-effective solutions for client proposals.
- Maintain relationships with OEMs and distributors through weekly meetings to align on products and services.
- Attend all scheduled meetings and training sessions as directed.
- Participate in technical and cybersecurity-related webinars and research initiatives.
- Oversee Webstor uptime and performance monitoring.
- Provide technical support and mentorship to junior staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced certifications preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in technical leadership roles, with expertise in cybersecurity, cloud architecture, and networking.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CISSP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, CCNA/CCNP, or equivalent.
- Industry Awareness: Keen understanding of cybersecurity trends, regulatory frameworks, and emerging technologies.
