Our client is in the Employee Benefits space and is seeking interns to join their team. In this role you will apply your skills across their various product offerings, interacting with stakeholders to provide and implement holistic solutions with a strong technical focus.Key Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements from clients’ business analysts to build new or enhance existing business functions using T-SQL.
- Utilize their tracking system to identify and resolve drawbacks and problems within their products.
- Develop workflows and customized screens using their integrated workflow tool.
- Test various procedures and their interactions to ensure quality work.
- Resolve support queries logged on our “issue log” system by interpreting and using existing stored procedures.
- Analyze and resolve system errors originating from the database.
- Optimize database queries.
- Write reports and create report templates.
- Perform data conversion and data cleansing, with knowledge of SSIS being an advantage.
- Liaise with the training department to document new or changed processes.
- An IT-related B.Com or B.Sc. (IT) degree.
- Knowledge of finance, including accounting and investments, is required.
- A basic understanding of relational database design fundamentals is beneficial.
- Microsoft T-SQL programming knowledge is beneficial but not compulsory, as training will be provided.
