- Create detailed technical drawings, schematics, and plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
- Ensure that all drawings and plans adhere to relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Revise and update drawings as necessary based on feedback from engineers, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
- Assist in the preparation of permit applications and documentation required for project approval.
- Coordinate with suppliers and contractors to obtain necessary technical information and specifications.
- Support the construction phase by providing accurate drawings and responding to on-site queries as needed.
- Maintain organized documentation and records of all drawings and revisions.
- 6 years' experience as a draftsman, preferably in the renewable energy or construction industry.
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting technical drawings and plans.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations for solar energy projects.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
- Knowledge of solar energy systems and components is a plus.
