Mechanical Engineer - Construction Industry

• Collaborating with architects, engineers, and contractors to design mechanical systems that meet project requirements and specifications.
• Preparing and reviewing technical drawings, plans, and specifications for mechanical systems.
• Conducting site visits to assess existing mechanical systems and identify potential issues or areas for improvement.
• Coordinating with project managers to ensure that mechanical systems are installed and commissioned according to schedule and budget.
• Performing calculations and simulations to ensure the safety, efficiency, and functionality of mechanical systems.
• Overseeing the maintenance and troubleshooting of mechanical systems throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensuring compliance with building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Providing technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in the construction industry.
• Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant design tools.
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing systems, and other mechanical systems used in construction.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with various stakeholders.
• Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
