Job Summary We are searching for a seasoned full function Bookkeeper to join our team based in Durban North. The main role of the Bookkeeper is to maintain the day-to-day financial records including but not limited to. Customer invoicing, credit notes, and monitor outstanding payments Process supplier invoices, credit notes & generation of Purchase Orders Process & Reconciliation of credit card transactions Reconcile Bank, Creditors, Debtors accounts General Ledger postings & reporting Prepare VAT returns and support monthly management reports Maintain and update the fixed asset register Liaise with our external accountant, suppliers & customers Handle finance-related email queries and ensure prompt follow-ups Requirements: At least 2-3 years' experience as a bookkeeper Qualification in Bookkeeping or related field Strong knowledge of accounting software - Quickbooks, Xero (Advantageous) Excellent working knowledge with MS Excel spreadsheets Knowledge of South African VAT, PAYE, and financial regulations Attention to detail Deadline driven Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to multitask and prioritize in a high-volume environment.
