Twee Jonge Gezellen, a leading MCC estate based in Tulbagh, is looking for a customer-focused Tasting Room Supervisor with excellent interpersonal skills to join their team.This role will report to the Tasting Room Manager and primarily be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the tasting room, ensuring exceptional customer experiences and driving sales.Duties will include (but not be limited to): *Tasting Room Operations: *Supporting the Tasting Room Manager with daily operations and stock management, assisting with maintaining cleanliness and organising the tasting room (including restocking, displays, and health & safety measures), preparing the tasting room for opening and closing. *Customer Interaction: Monitoring the flow of guests and managing seating arrangements (including Dineplan bookings), greeting guests upon arrival, conducting tastings. *Staff Management: Supervising, training, and motivating tasting room staff, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. *Event Support: *Assisting with the setup, service, and breakdown of special events, such as tastings, wine releases, and private functions. *General duties: *Providing general tourist information and handling enquiries, assisting other departments (e.g. Marketing, Events) with other tasks as needed.Essential qualifications, skills and experience:Matric required, a tertiary qualification in Hospitality or similar will be advantageous;Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role in the wine industry;Good computer literacy (MS Office);Own reliable transport required, drivers license preferred.In line with Twee Jonge Gezellen's EE policy and requirements, preference will be given to suitably qualified persons from designated groups.Please apply online at www.m3online.co.za before 09:00 on 17 September 2025.For general enquiries, contact our team at M3 Human Capital Management on XXX-XXXX.Please note that only shortlisted candidates are contacted.
