Multiskilled Operator - Port ElizabethFull job descriptionCLOSING DATE 15 MARCH 2024Rig Aftermarket is seen a Multi-Skilled Operator for general assistance in ensuring the smooth operation of the Manufacturing department by multi tasking.DUTIES AND RESPOSIBILITIES:Operating forklift – Assembly/component movement on siteOperating side loader – Assembly/component movement on siteOperating overhead crane – Moving parts to the allocate areas.Assist in the operations of the Manufacturing StoreReceive, issue and control electrical equipmentAssist with the control of toolingAssist with basic disassembly/assembly tasks under supervision.Pre-Cleaning of assemblies/componentsPost-Cleaning of assemblies/componentsEnsure that all inventory stock levels are up to dateOpen Purchase Requisition in GLOVIAWorking with hand tools and power toolsAny general labour duties as may arise from time to time including housekeeping duties.QUALIFICATIONS:Grade 10 (Standard 8)EXPERIENCE:Previous forklift driving and side loader experience with current licenses, previous storeman experience.Experience with tooling in a manufacturing workshop,Exposure to warehouse processes.SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:Knowledge of safe operations of basic hand tools; Manufacturing and/or heavy engineering experience.
