Safety Officer - Mining

• Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments
• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures
• Provide safety training and education to employees
• Investigate accidents and incidents, and recommend corrective actions
• Maintain accurate safety records and documentation
• Ensure compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations

• Grade 12
• COMSOC 1&2 OR SAMTRAC
• Diploma/Degree in safety management
• 3 years' experience as a Safety Officer within the mining industry.
• Knowledge in Mine Health & Safety Act.
• Knowledge of safety regulations & procedures, risk management, safety training and inspections.
• Valid driver's license

• Salary: Negotiable
