Our client has an opportunity available for a Gap and Medical Insurance Salesperson.Requirements:
  • Matric or SAQA accredited- essential.
  • FAIS accreditation and qualification would be advantageous.
  • Regulatory exam 5 would be advantageous.
  • 1+ years telephonic sales experience- essential.
  • Medical insurance and Gap Sales experience- advantageous.
Responsibilities:
  • Set clear objectives for each sales call and ask relevant questions to evaluate the customer’s level of interest.
  • Identify the products or services that best meet the customer's stated needs.
  • Use performance management systems to improve personal performance.
  • Make calls to allocated customers to develop new relationships and maintain existing ones.
  • Provide daily support on new and existing accounts to perform prescribed activities.
  • Develop knowledge and understanding of the organisation's policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, and reading specialist media.
  • Maintain high ethical standards and professional codes of conduct.
  • Makes sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems.
  • Build strong customer relationships and delivers customer-centric solutions.
  • Handle conflict situations effectively, with a minimum of noise.
  • Use compelling arguments to gain the support and commitment of others
