RPO Recruitment is currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor with experience in the construction industry to join our client's team based in Cape Town. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a vital role in estimating costs, managing budgets, and ensuring the successful execution of construction projects.Your responsibilities will include conducting feasibility studies, preparing cost estimates, analyzing project expenses, and collaborating with clients, contractors, and project managers. Conduct feasibility studies to assess the viability of construction projects
Prepare accurate cost estimates and bills of quantities
Analyze project expenses and track budgets
Collaborate with clients, contractors, and project managers to ensure project success
Manage contract administration and payments
Provide expert advice on cost-saving measures and value engineering

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
Proficiency in using quantity surveying software and MS Office Suite
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
Attention to detail and strong analytical mindset

Benefits

Salary: R840K/yr - R1Mil/yr, negotiable
