- Oversee day-to-day operations across warehouse, sales, and office functions.
- Develop and implement business strategies to support growth and profitability.
- Monitor operational processes to ensure efficiency and compliance with policies.
- Lead and manage the sales team to achieve revenue targets.
- Prepare and monitor sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports.
- Identify market trends and opportunities for growth in wholesale and retail sectors.
- Expand and monitor the performance of agents across South Africa.
- Drive successful product launches, including e-commerce initiatives.
- Manage demand forecasting and timing of imports.
- Ensure accurate stock levels and efficient stock rotation.
- Oversee warehouse operations including receiving, dispatching, and inventory control.
- Implement effective stock control measures to minimise shrinkage and losses.
- Manage and mentor sales consultants, warehouse, and administrative staff.
- Foster a high-performance culture through training, motivation, and goal setting.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration across all departments.
- Oversee daily use of Pastel for accounting, stock, and reporting.
- Manage basic financial functions including invoicing, reconciliations, and expense control with support from a Financial Consultant.
- Contribute to financial reports, budgets, and monthly management meetings with the Owner and Advisory.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Business Management, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ proven experience in warehouse, retail, and wholesale sales management.
- Strong track record in sales forecasting, stock management, and team leadership.
- Proficiency in Pastel Partner advantageous.
- Solid understanding of financial principles, accounting, and reporting.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Strong organisational and planning ability.
- Commercially driven with strong business acumen.
- Hands-on leadership style with a focus on results.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
