- Debtors allocating payments, dealing with queries and account reconciliations, sending of statements.
- Daily banking - processing payments and receipts as well as petty cash controlling. Obtaining approval from directors for payments. Loading payments on bank for release.
- Payroll functions calculating wage staff hours on a fortnightly basis
- Assisting bank auditors with monthly audits and completing any StatsSA questionaries.
- Monthly processing Bank accounts, import costing, payroll journals, interest and amortisation schedules, MEIBC returns and contributions, checking monthly creditors, assisting with creditors creating Purchase Orders and reconciling accounts
- Hand-overs and Credit Insurance Limit requests
- Pastel Accounting Software is essential (Pastel Partner)
- Pastel Accounting & Payroll exp (req.)
- Minimum 5 Years experience in similar role
- Degree/Diploma or similar (adv.)
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Computer literate (MS Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Fast-paced yet has strong attention to detail
- Able to genuinely work under pressure
- Able to multitask and meet deadlines
- Reliable, available for full temp period (not a fly-by-night) (even for temp 5-6 month role)
- Must be able to work independently with limited assistance
- Own transport
- Vacancy based in Richards Bay (Local residency required)
