Chemical Engineer

Responsibilities:

Optimise chemical and production processes for improved efficiency and cost savings
Monitor plant performance and identify areas for continuous improvement
Troubleshoot technical issues and perform root cause analyses
Prepare and maintain process documentation
Work collaboratively with production, maintenance, and quality teams
Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations
Support capital projects and plant expansions
Conduct data analysis and reporting to drive performance decisions

Required Skills & Experience:

BSc / BEng in Chemical Engineering (non-negotiable)
5+ years experience in a processing/manufacturing environment
Solid understanding of plant operations, mass & energy balances, and process optimisation
Knowledge of ISO, GMP, HACCP, or SHEQ systems
Proficiency in technical reporting and data-driven decision making
