We are an independent, non-profit institution serving the educational needs of the immediate and wider community of Johannesburg.We require the services of a dynamic candidate to join our High School Faculty with effect from 1 January 2026 negotiable.DEPUTY HEAD: PUPIL AFFAIRS AND CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIESApplications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced individuals. This is a key leadership position, reporting directly to the Head of the High School and forms part of the High School Management Team.
The successful candidate will play a central role in shaping the strategic and operational life of the school, with a particular focus on pupil affairs and the co-curricular programme.Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Head of the High School in day-to-day school operations;
  • Contribute to strategic planning and policy development as a SMT member;
  • Reinforce the Catholic ethos of the school;
  • Manage pupil discipline and maintain the school's Code of Conduct; and
  • Lead a diverse co-curricular programme.
Key Competencies:
  • Approachable, empathetic and motivational;
  • Strong communication and conflict resolution skills;
  • Proven leadership skills; and
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Degree qualification in education with SACE registration; and
  • At least 10 years' high school experience with a minimum of three years in a leadership position.
Requirements:
  • Be in possession of a Clearance Certificate in terms of the Sexual Offenders Register; and
  • The willingness to embrace the Catholic ethos, values and mission of the College
