A sheet metal manufacturing and fabrication company in Durban is recruiting a Draughtsman to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and preparing detailed engineering drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD, ensuring designs are accurate and within manufacturing specifications. Duties include preparing job cards and documentation using Fabri-Trak, checking designs before submission, programming tools for cutting, punching, and shaping metal sheets, and recording and reporting on project specifications. Applicants must have their matric, an engineering qualification, a strong knowledge of metal manufacturing materials and processes and be proficient on SolidWorks, Fabri-Trak, Metacam, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.
