IT Manager - HillcrestFull job descriptionKey Responsibilities:Management and support of the ICT Infrastructure (Core Fibre Network, Firewall, Servers, VOIP Telephone Systems, 400+ Workstations and Printers);Develop and execute the IT strategy;Manage, support and lead the IT team;Develop and implement IT security policies and best practice guidelines; ensure systems, networks, and data are safe and secure;Budgeting and forecasting, expenditure and asset management;Project management;Manage Audio Visual and Print department (including inventory);Setup, testing and adherence to backup and disaster recovery;Software management – updates, license renewals for a wide range of software suites.Preferred Qualifications, Skills and Experience:Relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification;Relevant IT Certifications: MCSE, CCNA, ITL;5 to 8 years’ experience in a position of similar nature;Experience in the private education sector is an advantage but not essential;Experience in Active Directory, Office 365, Azure, AD Connect, Intune, Exchange Online, Endpoint Manager, MS Defender, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Hyper V, DHCP, DNS, Group Policy, Veeam Backup and VOIP skills;Experience managing and administering wireless networks, routing and switching and VLANS.;Own transport / driver’s license, flexible with respect to hours of work, must reside or be prepared to reside within a 20km radius of HillcrestWorking hours Monday to Friday 07:00 to 15:30 and some scheduled SaturdaysJob Type: Full-timeApplication Question(s):What is your current salary and/or salary expectations?What is your availability / current notice period?
