Job Summary Key Deliverables: - Responsible for wages and salaries and the preparation and processing of monthly payroll. - Review, capture and ensure accuracy of approved timesheets, overtime and time & attendance information. - Responsible for the administration of the electronic timekeeping system. - Manage and reconcile applicable payroll deductions including garnishments etc. - Preparation/distribution of detailed payroll reports e.g. labour hours, overtime, leave balances, head count, and retirement contribution reports, etc. - Preparation of statuary reports and submissions. - Loading of new employees and terminations from the Payroll System. - PAYE and other statutory and regulatory reconciliations and reporting. - Pension/Provident Fund and Medical Aid reconciliations. - Reconciliation and Payment of Sub-contractors. - Leave management - Including capturing of leave and maintaining a leave forms filing system. - Providing pays lips to all employees (electronic format and print format). - Address any staff pay queries or information requests. - Remain up to date on all legislative and industry requirements. Qualifications and Experience: - Matric/Diploma/Degree with 3 years payroll experience - Working knowledge of SAGE VIP Payroll System, preferably Sage Premier - Clear criminal record
