Our client in the industry Tertiary Education and Marketing Industry is currently looking to employ a Student Advisor based in Gqeberha.A wonderful career opportunity awaits you!Requirements:
  • A qualification in sales or marketing is beneficial.
  • Experience in academic advising or related roles in post-secondary education is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
  • Must be fluent in more than one language as required by the region.

  • Planning and organisation.
Responsibilities and expectations but not limited to:School and Client Relations / Business Development
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders including school staff, parents and prospective students.
  • Schedule and deliver presentations to Grade 11 and 12 learners.
  • Create opportunities to engage with learners from Grade 8 to 10.
  • Establish connections with funding and student loan organisations.
  • Address customer concerns professionally and promptly.
School and Client Relations / Business Development
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders including school staff, parents and prospective students.
  • Schedule and deliver presentations to Grade 11 and 12 learners.
  • Create opportunities to engage with learners from Grade 8 to 10.
  • Establish connections with funding and student loan organisations.
  • Address customer concerns professionally and promptly.
Database and Lead Generation
  • Book appointments with top feeder schools and present to Grade 11 and 12 learners.
  • Extend presentations to earlier grades if required.
  • Generate and manage data collection to meet lead generation targets.
  • Achieve a minimum lead conversion rate of 60 to 80 percent of school learners in the allocated region.
  • Ensure prompt delivery of information cards to the campus after presentations.
  • Create events and initiatives that drive high lead conversion.
  • Develop a customer experience programme to improve retention and reduce cancellations.
  • Collaborate with campus teams to ensure maximum attendance at enrolment events.
Marketing and Enrolment Generation
  • Promote brand loyalty and implement marketing plans.
  • Book appointments with schools, teachers, prospects and parents.
  • Liaise with student advisors for consultations and events.
  • Participate in student recruitment for the upcoming intake.
  • Mine and contact the career database.
  • Schedule consultations according to school and campus targets.
  • Engage with the database for event invitations and follow-ups.
  • Work toward strict activity and financial targets.
  • Maintain monthly contact with registered prospects.
  • Register and enrol students monthly and quarterly against set targets.
  • Organise and attend awareness campaigns in the allocated region.
  • Participate in campus events such as open days and open weeks.
  • Represent the brand at events and in collaboration with campus and senior management.
  • Market school solutions such as teacher training to strengthen school relations.
  • Attend trade shows and events to promote educational offerings.
  • Maintain a strong presence at schools and regional events.
  • Promote the campus and create a positive experience for current students.
  • Develop marketing campaigns to increase product awareness and drive sales.
  • Plan and execute marketing and sales programmes.
  • Serve as the point of contact for internal and partner sales teams.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop effective programmes.
  • Support company initiatives and share best practices.
  • Generate leads through school relations and convert them into sales.
  • Plan roadshows and enrolment drives in remote locations.
  • Communicate product value to customers and promote new applications.
  • Improve business forecasting through demand analysis.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitors and new opportunities.
  • Develop field marketing plans to enhance sales and profitability.
  • Assist in planning and scheduling marketing campaigns and industry events.
  • Recommend creative marketing strategies for revenue growth.
  • Provide sales support and guidance for product positioning.
  • Monitor and evaluate field marketing programmes for effectiveness.
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, prospective students, current students and sponsors.
  • Research local competitors.
  • Maintain accurate records of marketing activities, statistics and CRM data.
  • Monitor and manage marketing expenditures.
  • Recommend marketing tactics based on evolving business needs.
