Job DescriptionEssence of the job:The purpose of the job involves requirements to define methodology, the manpower, the spares, other resources and the work program necessary in order to achieve efficient and safe maintenance in line with technical standards. Furthermore, to ensure the smooth operation of machinery and equipment, minimizing downtime and maximizing production.Qualification:Completed Matric/Grade 12 with Mathematics.Minimum of SAQA Accredited N5 in an Electrical /Mechanical engineering discipline or recognized technical qualification for Engineering.Advantageous:Recognized Trade test advantageous.Construction experience.Minimum Requirements:5 years' maintenance experience preferably in heavy engineering.5 years' experience on shut down planning and weekly plant maintenance planning.Fluent in English (reading and writing).Extremely good communication and organizing skills.Proficiency in SAP MRP System.Must be Computer Literate (Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook).Ideally from Construction, Cement, Engineering backgrounds.
