Logistics Controller, Durban, R35,000-R39,000 CTC(Basic salary, medical aid, provident fund)Looking for a dynamic and proactive Logistics Controller with strong background in logistics coordination, fleet management, and store controls, with the ability to lead and implement effective systems in a fast-paced environment.Requirements

A relevant tertiary qualification in logistics, operations, or supply chain management will be advantageous.
A minimum of 10 years experience in a similar role, preferably within a technical or fleet-based environment.
Must possess a valid, unendorsed drivers licence.
Strong administrative and organisational skills, with a focus on process adherence and document control.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, for reporting and inventory tracking.
High attention to detail and a quality-driven mindset.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the tools and consumables store, ensuring accurate tracking and availability of inventory.
Implement and maintain robust stores control procedures to support operational efficiency and accountability.
Oversee and coordinate transport logistics, including driver scheduling and allocation.
Ensure full legal compliance and oversee the maintenance and operational readiness of the Durban fleet.
Handle accident investigations, reporting protocols, and manage insurance claims in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
Supervise yard security and maintain a professional relationship with the contracted security service provider.
