- Sales Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with company goals and market trends. Set achievable sales targets, forecast revenues, and plan sales activities accordingly.
- Team Leadership and Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and collective targets. Provide coaching, training, and performance evaluations to enhance team productivity.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients. Address client inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly to ensure client satisfaction.
- Sales Pipeline Management: Manage the sales pipeline by tracking leads, opportunities, and deals through various stages. Implement effective sales processes and use CRM systems to track and manage sales activities.
- Sales Execution: Direct the sales team in executing sales plans, prospecting, and closing deals. Monitor and evaluate sales processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Quota Achievement: Drive the achievement of sales targets and revenue quotas. Monitor sales performance and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Sales Collateral and Presentations: Coordinate the development of sales collateral, presentations, and materials. Ensure sales materials effectively communicate the company's value proposition.
- Negotiation and Deal Closure: Lead negotiations with clients, ensuring favorable terms for both parties. Oversee the process of closing deals and contracts.
- Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Prepare accurate sales forecasts, reports, and analyses for management. Provide insights into sales trends, challenges, and opportunities.
- Market Analysis and Insights: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments. Use market insights to adapt sales strategies and tactics.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to align strategies. Share market feedback to influence product development and marketing efforts.
- Customer Feedback Integration: Gather and integrate customer feedback into sales strategies and improvements. Use customer insights to enhance product offerings and services.
- Sales Process Optimization: Continuously refine sales processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Identify and eliminate bottlenecks that hinder sales progress.
- Ethical Conduct and Compliance: Uphold ethical standards in all sales activities, transactions, and interactions. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
- Matric (Grade12)
- Relevant Degree/Certification Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field would be an advantage.
- 5+ years of progressive sales experience
- 2 years in a sales leadership role.
- Experience in technology, aviation, or drone industry sales is an advantage.
