We offer exceptional career opportunities for dedicated individuals who share our passion for the maritime industry.Job Purpose:As the Environmental Health and Safety Clerk/Officer, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Environmental Health and Safety Manager and assisting with the implementation and management of health, safety, and environmental programs.Key Responsibilities:Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.Maintain health, safety, and environmental records and documentation.Coordinate training and education programs for employees on health, safety, and environmental matters.Assist in conducting inspections, audits, and investigations to identify and mitigate health, safety, and environmental risks.Support the Environmental Health and Safety Manager in liaising with regulatory agencies, contractors, and other stakeholders.Assist in monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators related to health, safety, and environmental performance.Desired Experience & Qualification:Degree or diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.Previous experience in health, safety, and environmental management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.Strong organizational and administrative skills.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Qualifying Attributes:Strong commitment to promoting a culture of safety and environmental stewardship.Attention to detail and accuracy in administrative tasks.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Adaptability and willingness to learn.Salary: Negotiable, commensurate with experience.Application: Please apply with your resume and a cover letter highlighting your experience and interest in health, safety, and environmental management.Note: If you do not hear from us, please consider your application unsuccessful.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: From R1,00 per monthExperience:EHS: 2 years (Required)License/Certification:OHAS or Environmental Science qualification (Preferred)
