Responsibilities:
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes in line with the highest culinary standards
- Assist in menu development, ensuring creativity and innovation in line with guest expectations
- Oversee and manage a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring efficiency and adherence to recipes
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to maintain a smooth and well-coordinated operation
- Uphold impeccable hygiene and sanitation practices in accordance with industry regulations
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
- Participate in the procurement and quality control of ingredients
- Matric qualification
- Relevant culinary diploma or degree
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie in a 4/5-star dining environment
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, kitchen equipment, and menu planning
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Creative flair and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the kitchen
