The Administrator is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of day-to-day office operations. This role supports management, staff, and stakeholders by handling administrative duties, coordinating office processes, and maintaining accurate records to enhance organizational efficiency.Key Responsibilities
- Manage office correspondence (emails, calls, letters, and packages).
- Maintain filing systems (electronic and physical) for easy retrieval of records.
- Order and manage office supplies and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Financial & Reporting Support
- Assist with basic bookkeeping (invoices, purchase orders, petty cash).
- Support preparation of financial reports, budgets, and expense tracking.
- Maintain accurate databases and update records regularly.
- Human Resources & Staff Support
- Assist with basic bookkeeping (invoices, purchase orders, petty cash).
- Support preparation of financial reports, budgets, and expense tracking.

- Support HR in maintaining employee records and attendance registers.
- Coordinate staff training sessions, workshops, and meetings.
- Assist with onboarding of new employees.
- Schedule, coordinate, and prepare materials for meetings.
- Take minutes and distribute them to relevant stakeholders.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders professionally.
- Assist project managers with administrative tasks.
- Track deadlines and follow up on outstanding tasks.
- Support reporting for funders, clients, or partners where applicable.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication (verbal & written).
- Computer literacy (MS Office Suite, Google Workspace, or equivalent).
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Problem-solving and proactive work ethic.
- South African Unemployed youth between the ages of 18 and 34.
- Must not have participated on the YES programme before.
- Matric
- Diploma or Degree in Administration, Business Management.
- At least 1-3 years' experience in an administrative role.
- Knowledge of bookkeeping and HR processes is advantageous.
- Experience working in [industry/sector] will be beneficial.
