We're leading the change; we are the change.We are on a mission to power the future of travel; come join us.What does a great Commercial Account Manager for European SME Airlines do?You will be responsibility for the management of a defined portfolio of SME Airlines in Europe, with ownership of account renewal, enhancement, acquisition, and revenue targets. A Primary point of contact for Airline accounts, maintaining excellent relationships with account key individuals. Ensuring Airline engagement with all Travelport products and services to fully meet and exceed their needs. Create, implements, measures, and reviews a strategic and operational plan that drives the achievement of business goals within their portfolio.Responsibilities include:Develop partnerships with assigned airlines to drive commercial advantage for Travelport in distribution, access rates, and competitive positioning whilst ensuring ongoing excellent customer service.Identify customer needs, then match those needs to Travelport solutions to enhance Travelport's value proposition and revenue growth.Address Travel Agency content and booking functionality dependencies associated with their airlines.Maintain, using our CRM system, complete and up to date required Account Development Plans, and achieve buy-in for those plans with their Airline customers.Effectively engage and leverage resources by building co-operative relationships with internal Travelport teamsEnsure our CRM system is always up to date and accurate so that effective performance, opportunity status, planned activities, and target reporting is achievable for their portfolio of accounts.Adhere to Travelport's internal sales principles for the execution of sales plans, including the use our internal global sales enablement platform.Who we are looking for in this role:Proven track record of success in sales, customer service, and/or client relationship management in the technology spaceResponsibility for revenue generation and experience in implementing a Sales PlanAbility to understand business processes, technology, and products, and to articulate the benefits they can bring to customers.Upbeat, outgoing, positive, resourceful, and holding an entrepreneurial mindsetResults-driven, with a real energy and drive, and with a growth mindset - someone who embraces challenges and seeks out and takes on opportunities for their own learning, growth, and development.Highly numerate and commercially aware with a sound understanding of business drivers.Superior communication, negotiation, and presentation skills and great attention to detail.Other languages would be advantageous for managing client relationships across Europe.Our ambition is to hire for potential not just experience, and you're likely to succeed if you:Are always ready to give it your all and deliver high quality workAre excited to use your creativity and innovative thinking to try new thingsTake responsibility and own your workAre courageous and ambitious to challenge what's been done beforeThese are just a few of our employee's favourite benefits/perks…Competitive base salary, annual bonus, very generous holiday allowance (including all of Christmas to New Year and your birthday!)Interested? Travelport is a platform business and all platforms have supply and demand drivers, so for us as colleagues in Travel Partners it is critical that we come together to ensure that we can identify, source, contract and connect relevant and global content for our Agency Sales teams to sell to their customers to drive the revenue.Travel Partners manage the relationship between Travelport and all those customers who provide content to go into the platform.
  • Air Partners liaise with airlines to bring their flights and services, and railways.
  • Hotel Partners source new hotel content and provide Digital Media solutions.
  • Car Partners work with car rental companies and ground transportation providers.
  • Travel Partners Solutions includes Traveler Engagement Solutions (who work with all our customers to develop digital solutions such as booking apps), our airline IT business, and all our data functions.
